Not quite the morning we expected...Tina was awoken by a tremor that shook the ground, so it's safe to say I'm a heavy sleeper as everyone else on our tour had experienced it!
Unfortunately the marine guards had deemed the ocean unsafe today, not sure if this was related to the tremor, our guide tried to sell us a different tour around the park which we weren't really interested in. We hung around longer then any other group incase they were allowed to go out, but we reckon they were trying to get us to change our mind. Unfortunately for us Paracas is so much nice then Pisco, but it's good to give back to the local economy here after the earthquake as there isn't much else in Pisco.
We headed back to Pisco and they asked us for some payment to get to the Paracas which was a bit inappropriate as I was in the friend zone with them after playing on their team yesterday, Tina said she wanted all the money back which they returned no problems..the whole ordeal left a sour taste in our mouths, and not the sour taste thats synonymous with Pisco...'I'll get me coat'.
This wouldn't be too bad but the English couple on our trip overheard me telling someone how much I paid for the trip...lets say they weren't happy! Me and my big mouth, in fairness it's not the tour operators fault, if your willing to pay over the odds then they aren't going to say no to your money!
...I might lay low for the rest of the day.
