Kyoto

Left this morning for Kyoto which involved 2 Bullet Trains, 1 JR Railway and a couple of subway stops but train travel is this country is fun. Time flies when your on the bullet train. Found a aluminium can with a screw on top...best idea EVER.

We arrived in Kyoto and headed to our backpackers to drop off the bags. We headed out to a couple of the temples where hawks seemed to circle and then wandered around for a while through the interesting streets of Kyoto. Hunger started to creep in..we ended up eating in a New Zealand restaurant (Random I know) and I treated myself to a Fish and Chips with a pint of Guinness on the side! It was pretty good.

After the meal it was getting dark so we headed into our backpackers to chillout for the night...all this moving about can get tiring!

Hi Jay,

Long time no see..Yeah all the pic's are with the new cam except the odd one that I take with the compact.

It's a Canon 550D and it's a seriously great camera, it gives some the higher end SLR's a run for the money. I still don't know how to use it properly yet but I'm still learning! Let me know if you get one and I'll mail you the ebooks I downloaded for it.

Cheers,

Ciaran

I have a Panasonic dslr but I've yet to use it (it's in a press over a year). Got a compact canon with a 14x zoom. It's my new baby. Was down with your parents in december. Snoops lost some weight and lookin fitter than me!! Take care and enjoy your travels.
