Argentina

We got the bus from Pucon to Osorno this morning and switched to the bus to Bariloche, the border crossing here is straightforward and not scam ridden as the South East Asian crossings.

We crossed the Chilean border and a half hour later we reached the Argentine border, which again was no hassle they pulled a couple of random bags off the bus to X-Ray, mine being one of them.

After hanging around for half an hour we were back on the bus and enjoyed the beautiful green countryside with fields full of cows, for a moment you'd almost swear you were in Ireland and then you realise it's not raining!

Arrived at our accommodation and found at there was a booking mixup so we can only stay there a day, not too worry..the views are amazing from where were staying.

We headed into town on the hunt for a fine chunk of steak and we weren't disappointed. I got a huge New York Steak with all the trimmings and Tina got the smaller (for Argentina) sirloin steak, which was about as big as I'd seen in Ireland. The steak was probably one the best I've ever had, the Argentine beef quality is renowned worldwide, coupled with a bottle of Argentina Mendoza Malbec red...the whole meal cost 25euro!
