We decided we'd head on the bus to Siem Reap that evening. Out tuk tuk driver Lucky was looking for us for the next day and we told him we'd find him if we were staying. Booked the bus to Sim Reap for 12am, it's a 6 hour journey that costs a platy between 6 and 7 bucks. Our Hotel in Phnom Penh (The Waterview) was a fantastic place and she organised a pickup for us from Siem Reap to their sister hotel (The New Riverside), she told me there was no pressure, if we didn't like the place we didn't have to take it. We went for breakfast before the bus and lucky our tuk tuk driver was outside in the finest of garments! We told him we were off and he off course told us he knows of somewhere to stay in Siem Reap (The commission system is big over here).
So off on the bus we went, you could stare out the window for the next 6 hours and constantly see something new, carts pulled by 2 cows, people working in the paddy fields and millions of mopeds!
We arrived in Seim Reap and were picked up by the hotel tuk tuk to view the room. We did end up taking it, the room is bigger then the apartment we lived in for the last 12 months and at a mere cost of $20. Our pickup tuk tuk asked to take us to the temples tomorrow and said he'd like to take us.
We headed into town for the night, had a bite to eat and tried one of these fish spas, it's basically a tank full of fish that eat away any dead skin on your feet and they do tickle!
