Penang

I'll be blunt...I don't think much of Penang as cities go..Sure there's soem nice food but it doesn't really have much charm to it, maybe the open sewers may have swung my opinion on the place We stayed at Love Lane Inn (Recommended by Lonely Planet?????) for less then the price of the meal we had today, would I recommend it NO, the place is crawling. We went to see Fort Cornwell today also, Pretty much a stone wall with very little inside to see.

I booked our ferry to Langkawi for the morning and on my way back I spotted a nice Indian restaurant. When I arrived to the Indian later that evening Tina told me it was the same one as yesterday, we were just entering it from a different street, We went in anyway as the food was excellent the night before. Next stop the 8:30am Ferry to Langkawi.

I binned my well traveled sandals today ;( ...they had broken in KL and had been held together with an elastic band until I could sort them!
