Angkor Wat

Angkor Wat? No it's not a question, it' one of many 12th Century Hindu Khmer Temples in close proximity to Siem Reap.The Temples are nothing short of impressive. We booked our guy from last night who came in with a pretty high ball figure but we negotiated a less cheeky rate.

It's a long day of temple trekking and the there's a never ending amount of temples about. We decided to skip tomorrow and do the rest the following day, so it's a 5am rise on Tuesday for us to watch the sunrise at Angkor Wt then onto the next few temples.

At a price of $20 day pass it's a real shame as not many Cambodians could afford to see one this brilliant piece of Khmer Architecture. It's a long day but it's certainly worth it to see one of the wonders of the world, although the push kids selling stuff and the various vendors tend to get tedious after a while.
