Woke up this morning around 10am and tried to find the owner of the guesthouse to pay him. I waited about 30 minutes before I went into town looking for him, no sign. We decided to leave the money in the room and thrown the key at reception. We headed over the bridge towards town and hunted for a tuk tuk to the bus station, I was walking down the street only who did we meet but the owner of the guesthouse asking where we were heading, I explained we left the money in the room and he was happy with our word on that and took us to his shop, organised a driver to the bus station, sat us down and got us a cup of tea! When we left for the bus station we were handed a bunch of bananas and a big bottle of water, I offered to pay but they would not accept..True Laos Hospitality.
The bus to Oudomaxi took around 3 hours, another local bus, when we arrived to the bus station the bus was nearly full and the conductor shifted some people so we had a seat, probably because we pay alot more for our seat then them. We met an Israeli Uval from dinner the night before on the bus, we had dinner with him and an Aussie we'd met at dinner 2 nights before. The bus was overheating and we'd to pull in aload of times. We filled up at the nearest ATM, I'm a millionaire in Laos now, 1 Million Kip ($120) x 2...
Tomorrow we head to Luang Prabang another hour bus ride.
