Wasn't sure what we were going to do, we went to rent a bicycle early and were asked for our passport as security, Oh how I laughed as I walked away. We went for breakfast and we were touted a trip for the waterfall 25kms outside of town, we knew from walking around it shouldn't cost more then 30,000kip, he highballed us 50,000kip we told him that we could get it for 30kip up the road, he then offered 40kip we said maybe tomorrow, he gave in at 35kip and said the 30kip have lots more people on the tuk tuk and he'll only put 6 on his, so we shook on it.
We headed to the waterfall and arrived there at 2, he said he'd come back for us later around 4:30, the waterfall was beautiful, clear blue water that you could swim in, I jumped in and it was absolutely freezing, but I soon got used to it, further down there was a rope swing in one of the busier swimming areas, I had a go although it was dodgy as f**k! Definitely the waterfall was not what we were expecting..in a good way. We headed to town for the night market and Tina got herself a nice silk scarf and I got some Laos moonshine...AKA rice whisky.
