Nelson to Motueka

We booked out Kayaking for tomorrow in Abel Tasman, but still had today to kill we were told it was an hour and a half's drive to the kayaking so we decided to go to somewhere in close proximity. We spent the day on the beach in Nelson and it was an absolutely cracking day, abit of mini golf (Tina lost miserably) and a 99 cone and it was time for a bit of R and R for a while.

We drove on to Motueka which was only 20 minutes away from the Kayaking, the place we stayed could be used as set for a horror movie on the side, I told Tina I'm running if I hear any chainsaws fired up! As you can see from the picture of the old radiation king TV above (the tue took about 5 minutes to warm up on the piece of crap LOL) it wasn't the most modern of outfits and the common room smelled like an old folks home.........NICE!
