Star City & The PBH!

Went to Star City Casino for Laura's Birthday and had the Buffet which hit the spot nicely and then to the important stuff: Drinking & Gambling: Hit the Blackjack for a while and was up and down should of quit while I was ahead but in the end I was only down $50!

No one was feeling the late night expect myself and Laura, we lured the Krystal and Tina to the PBH (Pyrmont Bridge Hotel)..which is the equivalent of The Blacker, Northside S.C albeit not as rough! Its an all night bar we stumbled out at around 6a.m and it was a good night overall

Nowra Animal Park

On the way home from Jervis Bay we decided to take a trip to Nowra Animal Park.. I know the weekend was very animal orientated :D !, but Laura had never seen a Koala so we decided to go as it was on the way.

The park was very well maintained and the staff you could tell had a passion for what they did, they did a show on reptiles and after we went to the Koala show it was very interesting the Koala (Henry) was a real show Koala the guy doing the show brought the Koala around to us all and told us to smell it, it actually smelt like it had been shampooed (citrus smell) but that was the natural smell of the Koala..

They had a pen with the Kangaroo's loose but they weren't even half as fun as the wild ones ...actually they did nothing!! They also had an Albino Kangaroo!!

All in all it was well worth the visit!

Hyams Beach..

Hyams Beach: The whitest sand in the World - excellent camoflague for me then :D Stuning beach and such clear water. We went for a swim cold to begin with but it grows on you!!

Leaving Booderee National Park

I'm sure the passing cars going by thought .................."Fucking Americans".

Strewth!! Is that a flamin' Kangaroo!!

Well we arrived back to the lodge after our day out and while I was parking up Tina spotted 3 Kangaroo's grazing on the grass beside the car park. We were trying to get a good picture of them and we called them not thinking they'd even look at us and out of now where 3 Kangaroos were over to us!! it was amazing they were so tame! However they don't like when you rub them on the head they give you a nudge! but they don't mind you rubbing there back. I went to the cabin to get some bread for them in exchange for posing for some pics with us :) ! It was absolutely amazing to have them eating from your hand and up so close. We spent a good half an hour with them before they ventured on

We also had a possum visit us at the cabin but its not as forthcoming as the Kanagaroos and it just observed us!
