We headed from Puno to Copacabana, Bolivia today. It's a 3 hour bus journey from Puno and you have to walk across the border and it was pretty straight forward, only problem is Copacabana is an absolute shithole thats overpriced and has little to offer other then the lake and islands, which we can't go to due to Tinas sore ankle!
We had originally planned to stay here for 2 nights but got out of here the next night, it's overpriced and the area feels abit shifty...it says it all when the hostal has a sign that says "Do not wander the outskirts of the Village alone"
Definitely a place to avoid! En route to La Paz in the morning.
