Got the bus this morning, well mini-bus on recommendation that the bigger buses are lethal on the narrow roads to Vang Vieng. It was definitely one of the better buses we've been on in Laos. We arrived around 5 hours later in Vang Vieng...not sure what I make of this place as of yet. Vang Vieng is known as a backpacker right of passage, the place consists of "TV Bars" showing everything from Friends to Simpsons and Family Guy. We're going to hit the tubing tomorrow..in a nut shell you float 3.5 kms down the Nam Song in a tractor tube, getting pulled into various bars and going down slides and swings.
