Kununurra

Arrived in Kununurra finally after 350kms from Victoria crossing and first port of call was a swim we enquired in the tourist information centre if there was anywhere to swim and were told the pool was the safest bet as they'd just shot a salt water croc in the river last week! So fair enough we spent most the day in the pool with our new dutch friend, who told us off a nice spot to camp 12kms out of town. We arrived at the layby and I lit a fire and we had a few drinks and some roasted marshmallows watching the sunset. We had to surrender our bulb of Garlic at quarantine on the NT / WA border.
