Australian Customs

After watching a few 'Border Patrol:Nothing to Declare' on Living I didn't know what to expect! We were given a declaration card. I'd 2 boxes of Barrys (I know! But its not as bad as the woman on my flight with 10 x 12pk of Tayto).

I arrived and handed in my passport, It didn't scan so I was told to follow a customs officer to a booth where he examined my passport through a machine where it went through a series of tests (UV, RFID, etc).

I was sent on my way and as I was queuing up a customs office approached me and asked to see my landing card. He asked me what the "Yes" I ticked refered to "I told him about the teabags". He then asked me with a smile "Did I have any Leprauchans or Shamrock in there?" lol, I laughed and siad "That one never gets old". He stamped my card and told me to go through the exit!

Welcome to Australia
