Views from our new apartment

Not much news since I've been last on! Started in a new job in one of the big banks doing IT work. Hopefully we'll do a few trips soon. Anyway here's the nice view from our apartment!

Botanic Gardens

We took a walk through the Botanic Gardens (It's on our way home as well)..I looked up at the trees and throught what the hell are al those black things, on closer inspection we realised there was hundreds of fruit bats in the trees, and yes we're stil in Sydney, not Gotham city!!!!

The Melbourne 'Hook Turn'

Probably one of the strangest Road Rules I've ever seen is the 'Hook Turn'.

To turn right at most city intersections, pull into the left lane at the corner of the intersection and wait until the light of the street you're turning onto turns from red to green.
